3) stay away from poisonous people
4) stay clear of drugs and alcohol
5) play with my little brother

And multivitamins. Don't underestimate the use of those as supplementary nutrition. Otherwise, the more color on your plate then the healthier the meal typically is. I suppose good health starts with looking at food as fuel.

I would make some additions I'd overlooked the other day I feel shouldn't be left out. I consider health to start with diet, though I'm hardly a vegetarian. Don't add salt to stuff... stay away from preservatives too. Salt leeches the bones of calcium far more than it will be a risk factor to high blood pressure/heart disease. The more whole foods you eat the better. Also stretching is something most people leave out, and flexibility is a better indicator of overall health than most other measures.

If you feel an intense emotion release it all at once rather then dwelling on it to make room for positive emotions once again, so to speak. And laugh at yourself lightheartedly rather then getting angry or disappointed.

Things like running from the police would still be optional for weekend cardio work, should you wish to exercise, but I'd prefer an eliptical bike set to climb a hill every now and then; whatever that setting is called. Don't push yourself there in either case--you do what you can and try to increase it slowly.

Other things I do are working with Archangel Raphael and also meditating on the demon of health, Verrine ("Enn" or evoking mantra: Elan Typan Verrine [pro: E-lan tye-pan Veh-rin]). I find that focusing on these spirits' healthy "vibes", often by or through simultaneous direct comparison to my own aura, will induce healthy changes in my life by sympathy like a tuning fork ... let alone the more direct methods of asking for healing work and assistance with my own energy work on the chakras, both major and minor.

Speaking of which I also try to move a lot of energy through my body each day as I believe in the holographic connection between mind and body from much experience. If you're not into systems that require initiation like reiju, reiki, et al, then I recommend more simply New Energy Ways by Robert Bruce. Doing so with the energy body; it's like working health from reverse angles. It's done much in the same way yogis induce trance through breathing. That's done in the reverse and scientific way yogis have observed trance states producing certain types of deep slow breathing long long ago and sought to recreate this in reverse by starting with the breath. Smile Good Question!

I sing, dance, practice yoga, go on long walks & occassionally meditate on martial arts. Right now though, I'm not enrolled in a class and I want to add that, I just want to reach financial balance first and then I'm going to start a new one that's Ishinryu combined with Jiu-jitsu. I used to practice kendo, but the impracticality of sword styles kind of limited its usefulness. I just like Samurai and need the physical activity and discipline. Likewise, I need to get my butt in the gym and lift like mad! I miss these things when I can't/don't do them. I've been maintaining a very low calorie diet and taking vitamin supplements so that my muscles have something to feed them since, right now, protein is scarice. I am trying very hard to lose weight and taking my prescribed medicines at the assigned times. I also, attempt to avoid poisonous people and try very, very hard - to keep a positive and happy outlook. I believe that negative emotions are bad for a person.
