Yep i know it's a weird question, but in my journey i have never felt drawn to one. Maybe the cuse is that my soul is old, when i ask ... All i get is 'not now watcher' what ever that means.

Everyone's spiritual development is different. It could be that you are either not ready yet OR have no need for a Djinn. What do you think is missing that a Djinn can provide?

What do i think is missing that a djinn coud provide ... Well a djinn might provide me a familiar! Well when the time is right, then i will know what demon to ask.

When playing with the daemons, it is my recommendation that one not ask for a familiar unless they know exactly what they want. Sometimes you get what you ask for...

Depending on my tarot, I would take it as a test and persist, or take the hint and wait. Also don't forget that as you work, the more you work, then the more the entities on those planes will begin to take notice and approach YOU. Stay open to your insight, follow up on all names or impressions that come into your head using google, scrutinizing for that which cannot be explained by your recent studies (and allow and account for any potential misspelling in your numerous queries of said name), and in time something will assuredly happen. Remain open... You've asked... now move doubt out of the way for silence, belief, and resulting perception. Don't expect your answer to always come immediately.

Funny timing that I read this now. See, Lucifer gave me a familiar recently. I never asked and it was just given, and wow is it effective at what it does. All that said by me it seems most magickians never ask for these familiars that wind up getting them since doing more research into the experiences of others. They are akin to gifts, in my impression.

I'm not bold enough to start speaking for everyone in every situation, however.... I do know of certain cases where they've been demanded and given, particularly where there had been traditional Goetic work involved.

That is how it happened to me. I wasn't looking for a Spirit but they made contact with me. Don't be surprised where you might get an impression from. My thinking is to go out and experience with some degree of mindfullness.
