Is there an act of sex magick involving role reversal and the woman taking the man with a strap-on dildo? Linked to Isis and the missing phallus of Osiris? I know this is a great turn-on, but I've been wondering if it is much more - if both parties invoke the right powers it becomes a way to open up closed portals?

Thanks - I've never seen any acknowledgment of that before. Most discussion of sex magick that I've seen assumes straight vanilla sex.

I'm seeing Izabael as a young, punk, take-charge woman, tattoos and short skirt, short hair like a buzz cut, and wearing a strap-on. Seems like submission and adoration of the female would be a way into worship of the goddess - but some argue that this is a dangerous path, that the male must always be dominant in magick?

I got a powerful result from meditating on Izabael, after discovering this website and reading your posts.

First, I downloaded your sigil of Izabael, increased the size x4 and printed it on card. Then I focused on the sigil and invoked the name. Response almost immediate - warm loving feelings, as if in the presence of someone I loved, strong 'invisible light', and then marked changes in consciousness - a sense of power, a bit like a hit of cocaine. (Not intending to trivialise - but it was as tangible a mental state as a drug hit.) No changes in outside world, no magick, but a real sense that Izabael is present.

Thanks for providing this site and for your work. You're like a breath of fresh air - no bullshit and massive abilities. :-)

I think your image of Izabael is great. Astrally she becomes idealized to each person who invokes her. Your vision of Izabael is a hot one--and totally appropriate. Izabael is closely related to the male spirit Seere. Overall, both are very androgynous.

The goddess in Netzach is always a bit butch - 'she is strong as a man is strong ...' as Crowley wrote? And gods in Hod are effeminate or androgenous, like Hermes.

You've said that Izabael is linked to Netzach, I believe - though her airy, mercurial nature gives her some connection to Hod as well?
