Default Where to start in alchemy and necromancy

Hey everyone

This is my first post in this amazing forum. I used to lurk here. I need information about alchemy and necromancy. I would like to know what equipment do I need to summon a dead persons soul ? I googled but no good info was found. I hope I find the right info here.

Regards,

Okay, okay, seriously now.
Study Eliphas Levi and The Goetia and Cornelius Agrippa.
Good luck.

Nice to see someone else from Michigan, and pretty close, too.

Communing with the Spirits by Martin Coleman is by far the best book on necromancy, but it is a bit hard-to-find and expensive now.

I'm curious what alchemy has to do with necromancy.

Good question that got me thinking. If alchemy deals with transmutation of matter at an energetic level, then quite a lot. I wont get into the whole dying thing, that's obvious, but after death many traditions believe the spirit and the soul are separated, and go through different "phases." What's initially left after we shuffle off is the Nepesh, the spirit which hangs around for 6 weeks unless it's fed. The Rausch is what returns to the source, the soul.

I think the OP's original post was asking about separate subjects, not that they are connected, but it's a cold and miserable Sunday, heh! Nothing else better to do than ponder the heavens and get drunk

Or maybe he's just 14.

An open mind is a fortress with its gates unguarded and open.

Doubt is the doorway from which the truth may pass through.

I'm a threshold or a mirror but I'm neither the object reflected nor the the two places between the threshold.

Well considering Alchemy and Hermeticism I can recommend reading The Corpus Hermeticum and The Kybalion.

Here is some more information on the 7 Stages of Alchemy and the 7 Hermetic Principles...
