Doomsday... DUH DUH DAAAAAAAA - The Fool Speaks: Magick, Mayhem, Goetia, and the Occult Forums

hey Iza! I was just wondering your thoughts on 2012 being THE doomsday. Now I realise that Nostradaumus did predit the year 2000, yet his writtings and texts being in old french they mis-translated and then realised that they made a mistke. Yet 2012 is next doosmday predicted seeing as the mayan calender ends on Dec (12th month) 21 2012. I also find being of a hugley significant number, like 12 hours on a clock, 12 months in a year, 12 creatures of the western and eastern zodiac. Connections, perhaps? And could I use the tarot to predict something as this, can I find peace of mind and truth somewhere nearby?

I think it's non-literal. Like how "no man" can cross the abyss. Because you're not the same person when you get out; you've come unglued. Technically that means something died in you. But have you died even if your world was obliterated in a world of frozen silence? Not likely.

It's probably the last death rattle of the old aeon powers satisfying their ending as they've done so well over the last eight years to remind us where we are and where we were. The world ain't gonna literally end. I say it again to emphasize. That's my bet. It was probably a calender for their specific aeon according to their mapping system that proved their mastery of time and space. Get me?

Well I did some more looking into it and I relised it will end as we KNOW it. It will be the age of the aquairius by that time, so the end will be the change.

The change is said to potentially happen a bit earlier than 2012. And it might be noticed by as late as 2016. It's probably not so cut and dry a date.

But far away or close as that date sounds ... it's important to mention that I feel we're on the right path as one whole people. Because people I've communicated with these days are at least open to spirituality in mass numbers compared to just a few years ago. The information age is thrusting everything into the open; practically everything a resourceful magician might ever need to learn.

People are embracing a new age of thinking and being. People are thinking for themselves instead of invoking authority. But they do this all whilst shunning the similar but misleading "new age movement". So the evolution of Man and the collective consciousness continues. And again, I trust, will continue to continue.
