hey everyone, this is my first post here
i am completely new to magick, but im really drawn to studying occult topics. so my knowledge in these things is very basic for now, but im trying to learn all i can.

so im wanting to construct one of these planetary pentacles from Key of Solomon and im unclear on a few things. i want to make the Second Pentacle of Mars. the text says "This Pentacle serveth with great
success against all kinds of diseases, if it be applied unto the afflicted part."

so this literally means that if i have this correctly made pentacle in my hands, made out of iron or paper or whatever, and i set it on a part of the body that is afflicted by some disease, it will heal it, right?
thats what it looks to me like

i am pretty sure i read that these pentacles can be engraved on the metal akin to the planet being used, which would be iron for mars, or on virgin parchment. would printer paper be equal to virgin parchment? or would i need some other type of paper? and what about colors? the KoS says something about colors, like Blue for Jupiter, Red for Mars, etc. does that mean that the pentacle needs to be red? like using red colored paper, or red ink? (or blood? haha)

and i know the pentacle needs to be constructed on its planet's day and hour. for this Second Pentacle of Mars i want to make, that would be on a Tuesday at either 1am 8am 3pm or 10pm. so thats when i need to construct it. also on a waxing moon right?
and how big should i make the pentacle ?

in a nutshell, is this ALL i need to do to successfully make this pentacle so it works?
1. i think i would LBRP first
2. get red colored papaer
3. carefully draw the pentacle onto this at one of the times i mentioned above.
and thats it?
this seems too simple for something so powerful.

surely theres some people on this forum that have experience with these, right?

summary of questions
-do these legitimately work if correctly made? i believe they do
-are the materials i asked about adequate?
-size of the pentacle?
-is it REALLY SO simple?
-any kind of charging/energy techniques required at the end of construction?

I havn't practiced the system exactly, although I've used the Seals myself and found them effective.


Iron would be preferred, alternatively as you said, Red paper is usable...


I'd make a consecration ritual, (Basically an invocation, but focusing the energies into the Pentacle) and probably invoke (Note that I've never worked with this guy..) Camael the ruling angel of Mars and pray asking him to bless it according to its purpose...(Prayer being more powerful than most other practices)

As for its application, no idea...
