I think most people reach for the cologne or perfume with the same thoughts in mind; being more appealing as a sexual partner to someone else. So if you're not against perfumes, make up, candle-lit dinners, or other tools of manipulation, I figured, "Why not spells too?" They achieve largely the same effect in influencing but not overpowering a person's will.  

I see your point and I don't basically disagree...is just I don't need it...As for perfumes....am an expensive perfumes fanatic

I'm saying status and looks only do so much for a guy, so I'm not surprised those guys couldn't necessarily get anywhere despite being smart and educated or good looking.

No was just an example...am not saying that ALL university graduates are shy or socially handicaped.Was just implying that social status is not the rule for getting chicks.Now also depends on what social strata you are on...it is easier for you to get partners from the same social strata as you than others especially if that implies certain education or/and money.

Though I work really hard, I can relate to that, because I think anyone who actively engages in changing not only themselves but the universe around them has to deal with ego enlargement at some points - plural - in their career. It's easy to judge the self against others and reach limited conclusions thereby. And speaking to you as someone studying hard to become a psychologist myself, I also happen to know it's how our very minds work; that. "The mind distorts, deletes, and generalizes information."

But "need" is such a strong word. If you were to go inside and try it out, wouldn't you agree "want" might fit better instead? Think about it this way: do you really need perfumes for instance? Or have you just found them rewarding? So you use them, expecting to be rewarded in doing so?

About needing/not needing: Think about something: I mean, you work with Lilith. We haven't spoken about that at all yet, but I'm pretty sure you seem to know about how the more sexual-natured spirits work from perhaps from the more predatory varieties down to the girlfriend/boyfriend experience types that are out there. That in mind, after my own experiences in a haunted house, and after researching others, I've recognized all of them are intensely addictive enough to potentially replace human lovers for some people; particularly the emotionally sensitive who happen to be mediums as well.

For that type of a sex/love addiction to be able to happen, first the partner needs to be responsive and sensitive. But if that's granted, I figured the non-physical entities had to be doing something right to create similar obsession to that which I've done though I hadn't yet seen how. I was merely curious to see what if anything could be gained, even if it was never to be used to control others as I don't prefer to do in such a way. Yet, being the curious sort, I took my notes, and I tried it out to see what would happen. I didn't need to. I wanted to see if it would be better or worse, and if I could do it on strangers too, which I wrote about here on the forum actually if you're curious. Not that you have to be, but if you are...

But back to the joint subject at hand being love. Personally, though again I'm only the devil's advocate here having done precious little work like this myself, I still don't see anything wrong with learning how to make people feel even better in your presence when it's desired particularly in the beginning when an emotional connection is being made. And you can do stuff to help that emotional connection solidify in a lasting way OR dissolve. Having seen the rapidity of the results, I enjoyed them.

My writing friend from another forum had a girlfriend from Thailand living with him in Sweden which he'd met on vacation and brought over largely for the sex but also the intimacy. Turns out, as she admitted later, she did work on his energy body during sex. What little I recall hearing was legit in principle too, mind you. So I mean, desire and necessity ... like with so many things we do or don't do in life, in the end it's all about how you frame the subject in some ways; your beliefs which control how you feel which influences what you do.

There are some people who literally identify with the term or label "incubus", living in the flesh. Those people must practice this stuff all the time as opposed to now and then for the rest of us, and so juxtaposing that, it might be taken to some creepy extreme ... like to the similar level only in sexual intensity to where Don Henrie can make you pass out by feeding from you. lol It would truly be a bleak planet indeed if the education systems of the world emotionally crippled you by default.

Hehehe, with energy work I'm more proficient, I got a girl that already had attraction for me to fall in love, I didn't went ahead with the affair as this girl had a very extrange effect on my "friends" and every male around her, I swear they just turned on me, they started to get so damn jealous, as if something possesed them, their faces, damn were they pissed I got lot's of attention and playfullness from her and started to insist to intruduce her to them, bring her closer and even asked for her damn number (yeah, asking me). They just got so pissed off, every single one of them, some other guy wanted to kick my ass and all... But it's good that they didn't have much game. The girl is very very hot BTW, and I just discovered she practices... LOL
