how to channel a demon without a ritual - The Fool Speaks: Magick, Mayhem, Goetia, and the Occult Forums

as the title implies, i need to know how to channel or summon a demon without the aid of a ritual. i dont really have the time anymore to do a full ritual, which is what i have been doing. i sort of did it once, but it didnt last long, and i havent been able to since. any help would be amazing as the need is somewhat urgent and just i hate leaving business unfinished

Channel or Summon, the difference is very important.

You could try mentally vibrating the name of a demon over and over again until you feel a definite presence within. Then you can have an inner dialog with the demon although discerning your own thoughts from what is said can be difficult at first. This has recently worked for me and the more often you do it the more clear it becomes.

as for summoning, I'm pretty sure the only way one could achieve that without a ritual would be through years of frequent and persistent evocation through ritual until self mastery is reached and it becomes second nature. It might be possible although I've never heard of such a thing. I'd recommend adjusting circumstances in your life that are keeping you from practicing ritual. self restriction is sin.

Short answer - yes

Long answer - I don't think the word praying should be used. Most times, you pray, you are setting up a master/slave relationship. Might not be the best thing to do with a demon.

i agree. i acknowledge that i am speaking to powerful beings, but i show respect rather than reverence

it differs from person to person i suppose. i only show my guardian actual reverence, but thats just how i choose to do it
